The parts used to anchor the strings to the bridge in acoustic guitars are called “bridge pins.” The string is passed into a hole in the bridge, then the bridge pin is pushed into place to secure it there. A wood or synthetic pin or knob that slides through a hole in an acoustic guitar’s body and mounts into the end block.
